A Den Facelift: a client project

This room had such great bones!

I had such a great time working with Ashley and I knew we would hit it off from the start!

Here is where we started:
Things spread too far apart, and blocking the flow into the room.

We drew several layouts and determined what would work best for the space and same day she had her husband helping her rearrange!

We still have some styling to do but just drapes, some pillows and new floors can TOTally change a space!

Take a look and see!

We grabbed a few of the family's favorite keepsakes to display on the stunning antique Chippendale plate rack!

Love the detailed and the hardware!

The rug was a pleasant gambled suprise even I was hesitant on but it totally took the cake!

Here is a full room shot!

Stay tuned for the grand finally fully styled!!

Tween Room

Wanted to give you all a quick update of the tween rooms I am almost finished with.
seriously, how cozy looking is this bedding?

Some accessories like the crosses and picture frames were added and I love her little touches on the space. It really makes it "her" room!!

The paintings were commissioned by Candace Mooneyham.
She is a local artist with an incredible talent.
So honored to call her friend and be able to collaborate on this project together.

All we are missing is one piece of artwork and drapes and this room will be done!!

Styling: A Client Project

I had such a blast working with Diane.

She is slowly moving through her home and bringing life to a few places that had been "overlooked" when they moved in about 10 years ago.

Diane asked if I would come and help use some of her favorite things and precious family pictures and display them to showcase for when she is entertaining.

The cabinets were originally pickled so after our first meeting she and her handy man collaborated and got to work painting them white dove by Ben Moore. I am sooo impressed with their painting! Diane had the doors sprayed by her handyman and she did the rest!
Here is where we left off right before Christmas.

She and her husband have tons and tons and tons of books so it was a refining process for sure!!

We just met again this last week to finish styling and discuss the next step.
We have a few pieces she has ordered to complete her collections of top right shelf and middle left.
Several of her crystal and hand carved glass pieces just popped against the  accent color we selected!

Now the next step is to use this same accent color and mix it with the pearlescent paint to make her gorgeous custom mantle pop!!

Modern Eclectic Nursery Redesign- client

Let me start off by saying I absolutely ADORE this girl!!
We had a blast making this room more functional for her precious 11 month old.

A room she can transition from baby into the toddler years very easily!
We used alot of what they already had and just made the room make more sense for the current stage of life they are in.

adoreable alphabet letters with a collection of poms for baby girl to look at.

I shared a pinterest tutorial with the mommy and she and her husband whipped up this adoreable tent for their daughter to play in.

Did I mention the mom is an artist??

She did this incredible painting and I thought it would be so fun and playful in the space!!

Is this little red chair not the cutest thing in the whole world??

We used two placemats and put them together for the perfect chair size pillow!

I adore this 3sprouts organic line.
Such cute and functional storage for kids rooms!!
(you can find it really cheap on amazon!)

A Complete Den:Client

We are so close to having this room completed, I just couldn't stand not sharing it any longer.

Here is an aerial view of the room.

The client had her tables and couches and we chose fabrics for pillows, the wingbacks and accessories.
.
Notice the massive built in?
.
Well the ceiling in this room goes all the way to the second story roofline.
So we found this beutiful 7' painting and birdcage to help "fill" the void up there...
Unfortunately the whole being pregnant and up 15-ish feet in the air didn't sound too good; so their handy man is going to hang it for us.
And for the curtains, we have decided to wait.
.
Working on the dining room and the office first has gotten the better of us.

Stay tuned for the next rooms.
