A Den Facelift: a client project

This room had such great bones! 

I had such a great time working with Ashley and I knew we would hit it off from the start! 

Here is where we started:

Things spread too far apart, and blocking the flow into the room. 

We drew several layouts and determined what would work best for the space and same day she had her husband helping her rearrange! 

We still have some styling to do but just drapes, some pillows and new floors can TOTally change a space! 

Take a look and see! 

We grabbed a few of the family's favorite keepsakes to display on the stunning antique Chippendale plate rack! 

Love the detailed and the hardware! 

The rug was a pleasant gambled suprise even I was hesitant on but it totally took the cake!

I mean this room is stunning.the furniture placement is perfect....

but the coffee table.... dear heavens its perfection!

And when you entertain alot its exactly the perfect  place to store extra ottomans!

Needless to say my original plan for a marble top coffee table immediately changed to either glass or acrylic!

What do you think of the space?

(my room will obviously have some different patterned pillows, but all in all it knocks my socks off!)

Tween Girls Room Part 1

I am wrapping up a decent sized project and am so excited to see everything starting to take shape! 

Here are the before pictures of the room. 

They selected the wall color and the furniture and have called me to help add the finishing elements. Everything from bedding to drapes, to rug, you name it!!
