Age 2.75 years

I have been meaning to do this post for quite some time! It seems when u start planning things life hits the fast forward button!!

I had originally planned to not do shirts this fall, but who am I kidding!! I missed it!!

Here are quite a few phone pics of us since our trip to Disney in August.

Let's be real, this baby girl is a complete ham!

And continuing to grown WAY too quickly!!

Her favorite phrases and sayings:

"mommy, do you want to hold my little baby fingers?"

"Will, wuke, or Lilly and Luke you are being bad! I need to put you in time out!"

"oh daddy, you really are my prince charming!"

"no, I big girl, I do it myself!!"

singing abc's and saying "mommy, join me!" so stinking funny!

Did I mention her hair has grown halfway down her back??

(again, my digital baby book so I can remember)

And we are officially wearing size 4t and some 4/5s she is soooo tall that if the cut is not skinny the pants will fall right off her. 

Oh, and she just started wearing a size 7.5/8 shoe.

Pumpkin Patch

Last weekend we ventured about an hour away from home to go and pick our own pumpkins. 

This place is very kid friendly and had alot for us to do!

We rode a tractor out to the pumpkin patch!

This little horse was the sweetest thing. When we would stop rubbing his snout he would paw at the fence for us to keep going. Adoreable! 

Her recent obsession with horses was just increased! haha

Where has the time gone??

My sweet baby turned into a little girl this summer. It makes me so happy and so sad all at the same time.

Here are a few of her favorite things to say..

oh.. Wuker (luke)

willy girl, no tee tee in the house. (we say this alot lately)

mommy, is my baby sleeping in there? (regarding the little one on the way)

{lately, she has become i.n.d.e.p.e.n.d.e.n.t.!! if you know what i mean.}

no, momma, go away... I do it.

(shopping at the children's museum)

(swimming with friends)

Recently, we took her to the newest playground in town. we ALL had a blast. It was super cool.

she was VERY excited about her "boo" sno cone.

the idea of this park is all the trees shade the slides and nothing is too hot to use. its super super cool!!!

we will be there tons this fall.

she told me "mommy, i love to "fing" that's "swing" in her book.

Spring Time.

Lately I have felt like the worst mom ever...

.

We have been so busy with everyday life that I have forgotten to take pictures of my sweet little girl. 

.

We all know how it is, you have the child, take a picture of every flinch and reaction then they start to get older and you either 

a)forget the camera
b)remember she/he is a toddler and they won't cooperate for a decent photo

Do others of you feel this way too??

All that being said we set out last weekend to a local fotog fave spot and snapped a few quick shots of lil bit.

she did this on her own... she really makes me laugh.

Spring Break Recap

This week ended up being the most jam packed week of my life!!

We went to the Botanic Gardens and I snapped a quick picture.

We also spent some time at the zoo.

and of course some play time at the park.

she is getting sooo big!!

You know I was wanting a new pair of shoes for my birthday, and one bulky orthodic boot was not on my list, haha oh well... what can you do.

My Jammie Shirt

This post is more or less for me to document the great love my daughter has for her beloved Jammie Shirt.

That's pronounced "jahmee"

Here is my favorite part.... it's my shirt from 3 yr preschool!!!

{for some reason we did 2 shirts this year and the only photo I could find is of the other shirt}

{I am the one on the right, in the middle is my friend Michelle, I think she reads the blog and may kill me for posting this, but come on... we are 3!! and went to school all throughout middle and high school!}

Here is my little stink bug in my 1990's preschool shirt, complete with puffer painted name on the back!!!

She loves this shirt sooooo much that at naptime she requests a full wardrobe change to wear her "jahmee shirt" 

I think it is soo sweet how she loves something that was mine.

Despite it's paint splatters, haha

Our Love for Books

It's true!! lil' bit loves books, I just had to capture her face when I told her I bought some new ones!!

We wake up reading and go to bed reading; we have even been known to crawl in bed mid-day and read!

First thing first...

SHE IS TALKING UP A STORM!!!

AND I LOVE IT.

My heart skips a beat to hear her precious little voice resound through our house.

Here are some of her favorite things to say...

• Momma, puppy smells grossie {yes she says grossie}
• Dada... Come change Bitsy {this is our bitty baby who now goes everywhere with us and may be making her debut on the ole blog before too long...}
• I want to wear my jammie's shirt 
• Always asking about her sweet friend Jordan, he is now endearingly referred to as "My Jordy"
• Puppy, no your bad. {why is it so funny to watch a 2 yr old reprimand a dog?}
• I wanna watch my show... {yikes... promise its only 1 hr a day.... 1 mickey in the morning and little bear at night}
• let's go to my grahmie's house. or mom-mom, she still hasn't decided what to call my mom.
• oh and the best... I'm nakie, look momma I'm nakie.

I must admit after the terrible week and a half of potty training she has been an angel....

until she cut 6 inches off her hair, picture a solid cut above the earlobe and extending behind the earlobe... and the scissors were put up and I was only 5 feet away.. I just happened to be watching the mirror as I blew dry my hair while this occurred. 

.

I got a little upset, then laughed... Mom had a friend once tell her when they do something really bad breathe, then grab your camera because you will want to remember that for the rest of their lives...

so I will be sharing several pics over the next few days.

But you must see the snow we have been getting here in West Tennessee.. for us this is just insane!!

as you can tell my husband grew up at the beach and has never really played in the snow, so over the past few weeks he has taken full advantage of this.

trust me the boys had fun!!

Luke also took this as prime opportunity to snag an egg and cheese sandwich... little stinker!

here we are a few days later, not as much snow but much much colder!!

you might be wondering where in west tennessee are hills that look like mountains.

well my sister knew of this place near my parents and since we were snowed in it made since to head out there.

its the dirt plowed side of a land fill and trust me there was NO SMELL!!

YES BUNNIE SLOPES!!

baby wasn't so sure at first

but Aunt A talked her into it pretty quickly

did I mention the temp was 9 degrees with a windchill of something ungodly... IT WAS COLD!

then.. she became a sled hog and would cry as others jumped on...

we must work more on sharing!

now it was time for the super big hill.

and everyone loved it except miss "I want to do it alone!"

after about 30 minutes we were frozen solid and our clothes were sopping wet.
