Here we are with our precious teacher Ms. T.

Seaside and Sandestin

Whew.. Taking a quick naptime break to recap our past week!!

After leaving nashville we drove through Birmingham to meet up with one of my college roommates, A and her sweet little family. We cannot wait for baby #2 to arrive!!
(ps we are both squinting, kids were fussy, etc. a quick picture was a must so we snapped and went with it!)

From there we were on our way to Sandestin.

Sister kept us in stitches reading one of my workout books.

She was telling us to crunch our legs up, look at the sky then grab some pounders and PUSH... now PUSH.

I am afraid to ever show her Richard Simmons, she will be sweatin to the oldies in no time!

Monday morning we woke up bright and early and hit the outlets!

We lunched and before long the clouds had cleared and it was time to hit the beach!

C bug was super... excited to get his toes in the sand.

and baby... not so much at first!

Within no time he had warmed up to the sand and was Loving it!!

Crazy brothers before grabbing dinner at Great Southern in Seaside.

Brothers meet for tea at Just Duckies in Seaside

Waiting on our shrimp n grits!

Our first official night was fun overall, we packed alot of fun into the day and made sure to wear the little ones out!

Next up tuesday and wednesday!

Baby dedication

This was my last Mother's Day with a new baby.

So bittersweet.

I didn't want it to be about me, I wanted it to be about my last baby.

And the prayers we have prayed for his little heart, and his life.

And the promise we made to raise him in a home filled with Jesus, teaching him to serve and love, as we all learn to serve each other as ourselves.
He melts me y'all.
Pure butter when I get this face. He is so spoiled he won't even cruise the furniture. Too many hands aroundto carry this baby.
This was the last time I would work with my mom to make a precious gown using both our passions out of her stash and my babies stash of fabric.

I just tried to drink this time in.

Sure the day was rushed, a little frazzling. But while she held him, I just drank it up.

And while our pastor stood before our church, I just watched him, and prayed over him and drank it up.

This baby y'all.. He is the one I didn't know I needed.

Having 3 is busy, but I have settled into motherhood because of him and if the lord safely provided, I would easily have 1-2 more.

If you don't mind me asking, after you read this post will you pray for this little one?

Pray The Lord uses him in mighty ways, for his glory, pray The Lord protects him, keeps him healthy, keeps him humble and makes him wise.

And in the words of a dear friend.
"Makes this little acorn of mine into a giant and mighty oak."

(Will add another post from "the big camera" in the next few days!)

Thank you for your prayers friends.

Fall recap

I feel like this past fall was a blur!!

We were busy figuring out how to handle reflux, and sleep through the night, and transition c to the toddler bed!

Lots of sleepless nights and a hair overwhelmed by everything that kept breaking on this house.

We made it through and all that sleep deprivation has me remembering just the highlights!

This was w's first bite of cereal in the middle of October!

He was pretty excited about it!
I think this picture explains a lot about this child.
This little bean loved baths and brother and sissy thought this sleeper was hilarious!
(Same night... Promise!)
We finally started smiling and finding out how fun playtime was!!!
Baby started sitting in the big seat and this is how I got stuff done. Have them snacks and toys and ran to do dishes and laundry!

This one kept giving himself swirlies in the toilet and giving sisters poor barbie a swirlies as well!

As you can see there wasn't much time to decorate this fall.... Lots of diapers, sleepless nights and going back and forth to preschool!

I miss my little tiny baby. I hate I was in such a rush to get to the point of sleeping. Yes I love my sleep but I can't get those days back. They are gone.

9 Months

We both feel this way about him continuing to grow up!
(Actually He had an ear infection)

Ohhh these two.

Try keep me busy, and tired, and my heart so full!

9 months was the month I hit my "I don't have a baby anymore panic attack."

I am learning to slowly release my grip, let him explore and accept he is the last baby for our family.

If you don't know my extreme love of tiny babies, ohhhh my word it's intense.

Like we have discussed fostering babies I love them so dearly.

I don't like waking up in the middle of the night but the rest. I love it.

These toes!

This angel fell asleep holding my hand.

He truly melts my heart!
Clearly he didn't feel too well.

Our hair is growing and starting to curl!!!!
Eeeekkkkkk these curls are heavenly!!!!

Here is a glimpse of his 9month portraits.

He is quite the ham in front of the camera.
Oh how I love him so!!!

9month stats:
He gained one pound and was up to 18.5. Pounds, 50 percentile!
Length about the same at 28"

His growing seems to have leveled off and this planner momma is a little nervous that everything I have planned for summer isn't going to work.

What do you do!
