Heber Springs: Family Reunion 2014

Last year Casey's family did not get together for the annual reunion.

Which I hated we didn't but at the same time... new baby, new house, crummy heart issues.. no way we would have been able to join in on the fun!

everyone was so excited to be there!
despite their faces. haha

The obligatory sibling picture..
Auntie Krista was hamming, clearly...

don't worry, i got her to smile. haha

These three are all 40 months apart.

I know how tired I am some days and couldn't imagine these rascals...

Cbear tried his hand at fishing and had a blast!

The waterway the cabin is located on has water coming down from the mountains. It was about 89 outside and i swear to you that water was a good 55 degrees. brrrr

Cousin time!

Lots of time sitting on the cliffs

ac/ nap break for baby. he did AWESOME the whole weekend!!

Made the visit that much more enjoyable to have an easy baby!!

more pics coming soon, until then...

Seaside and Sandestin

Whew.. Taking a quick naptime break to recap our past week!!

After leaving nashville we drove through Birmingham to meet up with one of my college roommates, A and her sweet little family. We cannot wait for baby #2 to arrive!!
(ps we are both squinting, kids were fussy, etc. a quick picture was a must so we snapped and went with it!)

From there we were on our way to Sandestin.

Sister kept us in stitches reading one of my workout books.

She was telling us to crunch our legs up, look at the sky then grab some pounders and PUSH... now PUSH.

I am afraid to ever show her Richard Simmons, she will be sweatin to the oldies in no time!

Monday morning we woke up bright and early and hit the outlets!

We lunched and before long the clouds had cleared and it was time to hit the beach!

C bug was super... excited to get his toes in the sand.

and baby... not so much at first!

Within no time he had warmed up to the sand and was Loving it!!

Crazy brothers before grabbing dinner at Great Southern in Seaside.

Brothers meet for tea at Just Duckies in Seaside

Waiting on our shrimp n grits!

Our first official night was fun overall, we packed alot of fun into the day and made sure to wear the little ones out!

Next up tuesday and wednesday!

6 months Old

Half a year with this sweet baby has come and gone and time just seems to slip away.

Once we were able to get our reflux under control this baby has been happy, happy, happy. (thanks uncle si)

He is in a size 3 diaper, drinks a 4-6 ounce bottle every 3 hours.

He has started eating a variety of baby food we have begun making.
Loves; apples, carrots and peas, bananas, and avocados!

And I am not sure these brothers could look any less alike! haha

Happy 6 months sweet Angel!

Tennessee Christmas

Christmas was crazy busy this year!!

With three we were doing good to keep up with each child all morning!

So much fun and so thankful for videos and cameras to help me remember the blur of a day!

I am ohhhhh so thankful we were able to stay home this christmas holiday and be able to get some much needed work done around the house.

I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

Hope you and yours had a fabulous holiday season sharing memories with those you love.

This year we stuck pretty closely to the a need, a want, something to read and an experience.
I am so glad we are taking the shift off of the gifts and focusing on the reason we celebrate this holiday.

little baby was all about his teething rings!

We spent the afternoon organizing closets and finishing unpacking the house from moving in.
(Can't wait to show you some of our progress!)

Merry Christmas from our family to yours!

The Cotton Fields

Since baby girl was born 5 years ago I have wanted to grab my camera and head out into the cotton fields.

Honestly, the fall is SOOO busy for us we have never made the time.

On our way to Lowe's the other day, hubby said "Do you have your camera? If so here is some cotton, don't put it off, let's just do it!"

So we did. and honestly... I am pretty pleased with the fun pics we got.

They so perfectly capture each of my children at their current ages!

yes, c was running and trying to keep up!
poor fella

and this sums up his whole personality.

Orange Beach 2013

We decided to break tradiditon this year and hop over to Orange Beach, Alabama.

We had such a great time relaxing and hosting caseys family here and there. (they live 45 minutes away in Daphne, Alabama.)

Aunt Krista got to meet baby Whit for the first time and we are SO glad she lives closer now!!
And yes, Connor hopped of the boardwalk and sat down and started playing in the sand. He LOVED it!!

One of things I remember thinking when laying in the hospital a few weeks ago was I am never going to get to see my babies play in the ocean again.
My happy place, so to have this sweet picture (even if I have a TON of baby weight to loose) means thw whole world to me!
Action shot!! This fella had us in stitches the entire time!

Sister discovered sandcastle making!!
We probably made 10!!! IT was soooo fun!!!

Noone was here. Weather was perfect.

It was truly amazing!!

We were sooo lucky to have our photographer meet us down there and snap a few quick pics. Cant wait to get them back and share with you.

Orange Beach. An iPhone recap

We are so glad we got to get away for 8 days and relax as a family!
Stopping in Mobile to visit with pawpaw and eat at Cracker Barrel. I let my hair down and let the kids play in the rain after lunch! They had so much fun!!
We did a little shopping while in mobile and I may or may not have gotten in the Christmas spirit bb
Don't you love these lamp shades?? Saw these at Kirklands!
Next morning hubby and I got up and headed over to destin for a night to celebrate our 5 year anniversary!
Baby went with us and we spent a lazy afternoon at the beach. Soo needed!!!
On Labor Day we met Mimi and the big kids in orange beach. (She met us there and played for the day!)
Uncle Jackson (hubby's half brother) caught a pin fish with a French fry. C bug assisted in the big catch and was sooooo proud of their catch!!!!

This gloomy morning turned out to be an amazing low 80's day at the beach!
We made sand castles, and dug holes, and drank lots of pink lemonade ;)
Silly fella!
