Destin, then off to Gulf Breeze

We finished up the end of our vacation in Gulf Breeze, Florida (just outside of Pensecola)
(Fresh out of the pool and taking a glimpse at the vastness of the ocean)

I wasn't sure what to expect as we have never been to the area before.

We stayed at the Hilton and the best part is there was a zero entry kids pool.
Such a helpful big sister she is!!

I am sad to say we didn't even go down to the beach once with the kids.

The pool was that awesome!!!
We spent the first day/night hanging out with my mother in law and uncle j!

We grabbed a bite to eat at McGuire's which never disappoints!
Then they headed back home (about an hour away)

Next morning we headed to the bay for some quick pictures!
This is one I will treasure for all eternity!

The love they have for each other is unreal!
A girl and her baby!
After pictures we all came back to the room for nice long naps!

Then packed up to spend a couple days with the inlaws!!

Such a fun vacation!!

Got to meet some sweet friends in real life.
Most importantly, I made myself drink in my time with my babies!!

Seaside and Sandestin

Whew.. Taking a quick naptime break to recap our past week!!

After leaving nashville we drove through Birmingham to meet up with one of my college roommates, A and her sweet little family. We cannot wait for baby #2 to arrive!!
(ps we are both squinting, kids were fussy, etc. a quick picture was a must so we snapped and went with it!)

From there we were on our way to Sandestin.

Sister kept us in stitches reading one of my workout books.

She was telling us to crunch our legs up, look at the sky then grab some pounders and PUSH... now PUSH.

I am afraid to ever show her Richard Simmons, she will be sweatin to the oldies in no time!

Monday morning we woke up bright and early and hit the outlets!

We lunched and before long the clouds had cleared and it was time to hit the beach!

C bug was super... excited to get his toes in the sand.

and baby... not so much at first!

Within no time he had warmed up to the sand and was Loving it!!

Crazy brothers before grabbing dinner at Great Southern in Seaside.

Brothers meet for tea at Just Duckies in Seaside

Waiting on our shrimp n grits!

Our first official night was fun overall, we packed alot of fun into the day and made sure to wear the little ones out!

Next up tuesday and wednesday!

Bach Trip in Nashville

I have left y'all out on some big family news.
My sister is getting married in August so we are all gearing up for that.

We escaped with a few bridesmaids and a few dear friends for a weekend getaway!

We woke up and headed to Posh Nail Spa at Green Hills.
This is my friend I met at the nail bar!!! Hahaha
Sister says I always make friends wherever I go.

We left there and hit the malls!!
And grabbed a bite to eat at Chuy's

Ps this gold crown makes my life complete!

H&M swag!!
Then we came back to the room to party!!

I just threw together some decorations I had at home.
Since the weekend was spa themed we grabbed our favorite treats from trader joes for the party!
I highly recommend the chocolate ice cream Bon bons and the frozen lemon bars!
Amaze!!!!

Everyone went home with their own homemade moisture body scrub!!
Body scrub recipe:
8 tbsp Epsom salt
4 oz extra virgin oil
4 drops DoTerra orange oil
2drops DoTerra vanilla

Ahhhh mazing!!!

We then headed out to dinner!
We ate at Tavern and everything was amazing!!!

Next morning hubs and the kids drove to Nashville and picked me up to head to the beach!!
They grabbed a quick picture and we were on our way!
Someone is trying super hard to walk!

Next stop!!!Sandestin!!!

Target: Threshold items

I know if you follow along on Instagram you have seen my recent target obsession!

From Nate to threshold they have really stepped up their game! Usually I find unique pieces at antique stores, local boutiques and Marshall's/ TJMaxx. Well now I can say target is in that category! Consistently for the past few months the items have seemed more high quality and one of a kind!

Do you agree?

Can't wait to go back and buy a few of these guys to accessorize for summer!

I think I may need these for the kids bathroom!!
