There are no words for this light fixture. 

I know the pics are up in reverse order but i am using my sisters laptop and she has some funky settings for the mouse on and it wont allow me to load the pics in order.

okay when we moved in, the walls were tan, underneath reveals a much worse color.... deep deep rust. if it were fire brick i could see making it work but such a dark color for such a small space screams troubles.... so we thought again.. GREEN. 

I know my whole dang house is green but again its the color of growth and prosperity..... here is the whole patched from the aweful tiles.

This is the hole where we removed the 9 tile backsplash behind the sink. Such an unusual addition to a home.

How I love fine china.

May I first mention as i sit here and blog that I am doing so with a baby in my lap. In my daughters first whole year of life i never held her while i played on the computer. This is the best feeling having a bundle of joy lay in your arms, sleep peacefully, and keep you warm as you open your heart to blogland. 

Okay so back to the reason for the post.When i was registering for things one of my favorite stores i went to was Jude Gifts. The sweet ladies there helped me pick out this place setting. They even reaffirmed me in mixing and matching companies and pieces, Thus Lenox and Pickard fell in love.

Kids Bathroom Accessories

This is the rug and the basis for the bathroom design. Super shabby chic. (before and afters coming) all we really have left to do is paint the beadboard, attach the trim, and resecure the pedestal sink to the wall....

More from the bday party.

Today is my birthday... and its cold and rainy. I am going to spend the day with grammy.

i think i will chase my puppy around while i wait on mommy and daddy to get ready for work.

my aunt stephanie and uncle jake came to visit for my birthday.. i sure do love them.chocolate cupcakes with thin mint icing... my favorite.

my cake is all ready!! now just waiting on the visitors.

and who can live without strawberry cupcakes and flowers?? not me....

Dreaming

Casey and i have been doing alot of dreaming lately... we talk about building our dream home and what it will have and what memories we want to make there... yata yata yata... sooo here are pics of plans of houses we enjoy. the one we really love is a southern living mag plan... straight dream house. enjoy...

or maybe this one... i want a screened in porch for sure... i love screened in porches.... need somewhere to put my rocking chair.

hopefully i will a built in so i can display plates that i am going to beginning to collect.

then i will have cute little spaces to decorate as i see fit. found this adoreable pic on imperfectly beautifuls blog. she does such neat stuff.

we are planners for sure, we plan to build this house or buy something with some of these architectural details in the next 5 years or so .... stay tuned for the changes we are making on our current house...

Bridal Portraits

Josh Malahy was the photographer for mine and casey's wedding. We had a limited amount of time to move, find new jobs, plan a wedding, and graduate so somewhere in the shuffle my want for bridal portraits fell to the wayside. my first birthday. i was a little fussy due to not taking my full afternoon nap so mom and dad had to assist in opening presents. Enjoy the pics. with my mimi and uncle jackson after my first ride in my new car.

Much overdue

AC celebrated her first birthday this past week. We had a party on saturday and lots of mommy and daddys friends came to celebrate. Also, here are some pics of this fall, halloween, and general mischeviousness.

Home Renovation Update.

As we are buying for our sugar lumps christmas and birthday home reno has been put on hold till the new year. of course bargains will be purchased in the mean time so be prepared for those posts. Currently we are working on anna carolines bathroom. It has a wretched 9 tile backsplash of mexican tiles behind her pedestal sink. As of now we have replaced the flooring in her bathroom. it was an AWEFUL grey faux brick vinyl. YUCK. The walls need painting. Beadboard hung. Art painted...(knowing me it will probably be a bunny, a bird, or a bible verse)
