Name Change

I have pretty much been fighting this for over a year. 

I have asked sooooo many blog friends what I should change the name to.

What's me?

Well... truth of the matter is.... I don't want people telling me what to blog. 

So for that reason, I have not partnered with any companies or gone through any ad agencies, thus needing a big fancy blog makeover that is top dollar.

So my sweet friend Brittany said look, you have become and now "ARE" Preppie Peonie.

People see your stuff around town and say... Preppie Peonie is you??? 

No way! 

Incredibly flattering and at the same time the ugh.... LifeOnLyford is dead...

So its time....

The header has been up for a few days, er... weeks and I need to change the blog name.

So... I am making the Jump!

Okay..... time for me to reveal what I have been up to lately.....

You all know I have a degree in Fashion Design....

You all know in June I became pre-school teacher/ SAHM....

But, did you know I also began sewing for people... other than just the Greek letter shirts?

well.... after a very busy summer behind a 1990 Bernina, Preppie Peonie has become a full time business venture....

In July I used B's Blog Boutique to help us in our re-branding process.

Here is our new look.

And in August I purchased a gently used INCREDIBLE embroidery machine!!

{can't wait to share those projects with yall}

I have been really busy this week gearing up for our first fall trunk show at the Phi Mu house.

Tomorrow is the big day and I can't wait to share how it goes...

We also make earrings, and closer to christmas plan on selling some paintings and wooden signs!!

New Preppie Peonie Pieces

As you can see baby has been doing her fair share of helping out lately!

A little sun suit, for a little boy... (no one is not on the way but i just LOVE this pattern)

This little top will get baby's monogram added to it!!

And every little girl's summer wardrobe needs a new applique!

So weekend blogging was non-existent.

With Internet being down I was able to finally devote time to making some new earrings.

I didn't have an earring stand so my sorority pin box will do just fine.




















Now just have to get creative in my closet and make these pieces rock!! Try to blog more later.
